Katherine Hospice
15 May

Katharine House Hospice provides free care and support for adults and their families who are coping with progressive illness across mid-Staffordshire. It relies upon the kindness of the local community to help generate over 75% of the funds needed to run its range of vital services.

Westgate are proud to be sponsoring their brand new appeal so that more of the money raised will go towards providing free care. Katharine House Hospice are looking for people and businesses to sponsor an hour’s care so they can continue their great work.

Just £15 can provide everything that is required for an hour’s care for a patient at the hospice, so every donation helps!

Katharine House Hospice’s Fundraising Manager, Sarah Hulson-Beech added:

“By sponsoring an hour of care, people can rest assured that they are directly helping the hospice to give the best care for local people. We are very proud of how our multi-disciplinary team comes together to give each patient the care they need and hope that people will see this as a great opportunity to support us.”

David Collins-Lafferty, Marketing Manager at Westgate Group, said:

“Westgate Group is delighted to be able to support the ‘Sponsor an Hour’s Care’ appeal. Since we started supporting Katherine House Hospice over a year ago, we have learned just how important the service they provide is to local communities, families and patients alike. We wanted to take the opportunity, like many other businesses, to show our commitment to enabling these vitally important services to continue and we wish them all the best for their appeal.”
